In the center of both photos is Brighton Beach Laundry building.

The building in the left of both photos has quite a history of its own. Before being moved to this site, it was part of the Sheepshead Bay Racetrack. WF Mangels moved the structure to its present location and used it as his factory to produce amusement park rides including the B&B Carousel, The Whip or lots of kiddie rides which still operate in Coney Island. The building presently houses the Coney Island branch of Dept of Motor Vehicles.
