How is the weather today Mr Contemporary?? Looks nice out.

Another nice day. Going to the Magic Kingdom. I wear my Nathans Hot Dog contest shirt.

Little bit of a story with this shirt. I wore it to watch Illuminations at Epcot once. During the show, I felt things hitting me. When back at my resort later that night, found black specs where tiny pieces of hot burning material landed on the shirt. No special reason to wear it today.

Breakfast today is something new, Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary.

Someone asked me if I was in the Nathans contest here in Kissimmee, told her no. What did I have?? Steak and eggs of course, with weak Apple juice ☹

Ive had steak and eggs at other places. This was more convenience then a must do to eat here. I head back to the room, get my scooter and use the path to go to the Magic Kingdom.

First up.. Haunted Mansion.

I was using for the first time, a new toy.. Gopro 11 on a dark ride. It didn’t do a good job… did it? Sorry. I tried to enhance the video the best was I can.

I head towards Hall of Presidents, not to go there, but the handicap area opposite for the 3 pm parade that is now 12 pm 😉 I use my 3D camera. It is viewable in 2D, but for 3D effect, need a VR headset.

One of the highlights is the dragon breathing fire. Years ago, the head caught fire, but has been repaired. After he passed me, he did breath fire. Oh, well. Next up.. The Jungle Cruise.

I liked the part when she bent over backwards. And did you notice how she wore her sunglasses?? Upside down.

I was walking by Sunshine Tree Terrace, to get a snack and another Orange Bird. There was no lines when I went by it. But by the time I parked my scooter and walked back, a group of 8 people entered the line ☹ Oh well, got my Orange Bird.

I am crossing the park to Tomorrowland, to ride Buzz Lightyear, my favorite ride in the park.

I then went on Caousel of Progress. Years ago, they used to say… no video taping. Not this time or previous trip. So I recorded it. I used my GoPro mounted to my head band. Most of the time, where I looked, so did the camera. Sometimes I didn’t look at the action. I had a setting that can be used for outdoor better, so some scenes comes out a little on the dark side. Here is the video.

Still a classic must do for me. I then marched back across the park to ride The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure.

I forgot I could take my scooter into the ride, instead I used my DAS return, parked the scooter outside and walked in.

I then went on Mickey’s Philharmagic. Since this is a 3D movie, I didn’t bother to video it.

I can scream in frustration 😊 yesterday, In a Tomorrowland gift shop, I saw something I wanted to get for a friend. Today I go back to Star Traders. Not only did they not have anymore, they looked at me like I had three heads when i asked about it. I looked at the stores on Main Street where I found it. I also wanted to get Annual Pass exclusive pin. They had me open My Disney Experience app to prove my AP is current. I had my card, but that wasn't proof enough.

My phone was connected to the parks wifi. Trouble was the mde app kept crashing. I turned off the wifi on my phone, used cell data, and I was able to open MDE now and show them my AP was current. But now stuck on Main Street due to the 3 PM parade.

Once the parade was over, I headed back to my room to rest a bit before heading back to The Magic Kingdom, actually the boat launch for the Wilderness Lodge.

I leave my backpack of electronics back in my room, just one camera I wear on my hat. I take the footbridge to the Contemporary, take the monorail, no bag check, to the Magic Kingdom. I walk over to the boat launch for the Wilderness Lodge. Here is the video of my boat trip.

Once at Wilderness Lodge, I walk into the gift shop, looking for pins to buy. I jokingly say… see this hat.. I am walking into the shop with. Last April, I bought a leather hat there. They laughed too, as they know I didn’t walk to the back of the store to steal a hat.

I check in at Whispering Canyon Café. I ask and get a quiet table. I go for the food, not to be part of the entertainment. I am called to my table with barely any time from checking in to almost sitting and waiting.

When I ate here last April, one of the reasons I wanted to return was for this appetizer 'Burnt Ends' Nachos

Topped with Beef Brisket, Barbecued Pulled Pork, Cheese Sauce, and Fresh Salsa.

One of the things Whispering Canyon Café is known for is their bottomless Milkshakes, so I indulge and get a chocolate milkshake.

Trust me.. there was chocolate milkshake in that empty glass 😊 And if you have to think what my entrée was…. You don’t know me 😊

No dessert, I consider the milk shake… dessert. I take a boat launch back to the Magic Kingdom

Once back at the Magic Kingdom, I decide to take a boat to the Polynesian, so I switch to that boat….. just missing one ☹

To get to the Polynesian, you first go to Grand Floridian from the Magic Kingdom. Here is the first lap of my trip.

Its been years since I have been on these boats. Next lap, from GF to The Polynesian.

At the Polynesian, I look at a gift shop, find some more pins and another gift for another friend.

I took the monorail back to The Contemporay, walked the bridge back to my room…. And called it a night, only 8:30.

I found this interesting, you see the lights on the Contemporary? I sometimes woke up in the middle of the night, and those lights were off. I wonder if staying in one of those rooms, does the lights light up the room? They stay up pretty late.

As I am getting ready for bed, I hear the music for the Electrical Water Pageant. I look out from my balcony to see the floats, I grab my camcorder to film it.

I go to bed.
