Day two
Good morning castle, whats the weather today.
Looks cloudy.
Heading to the studios today, so I wear my
Warriors of Coney Island t-shirt.
I head to the lounge, they have a egg dish, some turkey bacon and french toast with apple juice. And some chocolate milk with more
muffins. I do like the chocolate
milk. I drink it from a glass.. only peons use straws J
I install the Warriors banner on the back of my scooter,
pack up my cameras in
a back pack. Then I try to figure out
how to get me scooter out of the room. I
drove it last night, I cant back it out. I put it in neutral and drag it out
finally. I am on my way. Another issue is the club level door, I place the scooter in very low speed, and use its own
power to move it towards me while I back into the door.
After a little wait at the
bus station, I am on my way to the studios.
They are playing the music from one of the Star Trek movies. Just makes me smile a bit.
Now I use a specific backpack to enter the
parks with. Somehow a small multitool in a belt pouch
similar to what I almost walked into a park yesterday found its way into park
used backpack. The guard searched and
found it. I really was in shock, figured
it was one with a broken blade. Thinking
I would loose it, he said, just leave it in the
bag. I thanked him, and went to the next
wait, getting into the park.
I use a DAS return time first
at Mickeys Runaway Railway.
I head to Toy Story Midway
Mania, Now the last time I visited the park, Toy Story land was open, and they
moved the entrance to the new themed land.
But I still headed to where the entrance was. I enter the normal queue. Figure I have time to kill, posted wait time
30 minutes. When I get to the area where
there are stairs, I am directed to the handicap loading area. They just loaded the handicap cars, so I had
a little wait, 6 minutes till the cars cycle through. I also requested and got the ride vehicle
with a button instead of pull string.
I head and enter the
lightening lane for Mickeys Runaway Railway and rode
it.
Sam texted
me, she and family are in the queue of runaway, will meet me at restaurant
after.
its raining now and not much time to do anything
before my ADR at Hollywood & Vine with Sam and her family. So I cover the steering column with a clear
plastic bag I had from my last trip.
Find a covered space near H&V and park my scooter there, and wait
till Sam and family show up.
The show up and check in, the ADR is under their name. They open at

Sam and family head to Animal
Kingdom. They gave me my own ticket for Fantasmic later in case they cant
make it. So I go back to ride Toy Story
again.
While waiting to board Toy
Story, a previous rider rode it in wheelchair. I was amazed at the engineering involved to
disassemble the normal car into one that can accept a wheelchair. And the professionalism of
the ride operators knowing exactly what to do.
i complimented the workers.
The worker told me her story of woe. Her aunt near the end of her life was also
wheelchair bound. When she went with them to a local amusement park, all she
can do with them was ride the carousel, which left a negative image in her
mind, so she is motivated to do this others.
I then went to go on Muppetvision 3D. I
had a DAS return time, but really didn’t need it, it was a walk on. I was first person in a wheelchair to board.
I wanted to take a photo of the key under the rug, but they were people
standing over it. Oh well.
Then I explored Star Trek
land. They even have the saucer section
of the USS Falcon, year 2000 version, otherwise known as the Millennium Falcon.
My nieces son wanted one of those round soda
bottles they sell there, but since they fly and I take the train, they cant take one home.
That’s all he wanted. So I got a
Sprite one for him,
and a diet coke one
for me. I didn’t give it to him yet, but
will give him both. If he decided to
drink it, will tell him, we have to drink each one together. Now I am rolling around Galaxies Edge,
looking for the exit to other sections of the park. I just needed those soda bottles. Found the exit into Toy Story Land.
I head back to the resort to rest before going back to the park for Fantasmic. Leaving the park, I had the bus to myself. She loaded me and my scooter, waited a couple
of minutes. No one else was there, so we
departed back to the lodge.
I check out some things in my resorts gift shop. One t-shirt says there are two types of people
who go to Walt Disney World. One type for
Years ago, I got bad sunburn on the tips of my ears. Ever since then, my mother always said I
should wear a wide brimmed hat to cover my ears. While preparing for this trip, I saw a wide
brimmed hat being sold by Morroco in Epcot. Looking at the resorts gift shop, they sell a
leather wide brimmed hat that was made to look used. It caught my eye, tried it on, I don’t know
if I will look silly in it or not, so I put it back, but its
on my mind.
I am resting, almost asleep,
when I remember my Owners Locker, I
call up and get my owners locker delivered to my room. I tip the guy $5. I don’t know how much to tip, before leaving
I asked, and that seemed to be the general amount people do.
The club lounge closed between 4 and
I pack up and head to the bus stop. I
had a long wait. Meanwhile Sam posted she is there waiting. Finally a bus
comes. it stops at the contemporary first, then heads
to the studios.
Now earlier in the day, i did something silly. I went to the old entrance to Toy
Story. Last time i visited the parks, those entrances
were closed already. I dont know why i did that.
Back to a
bigger stupidity on my part. After
dealing with the bag check, i went right following a
group of people. When i realized they were leaving
the park, my front wheel of the scooter crossed the line and left the park. The
rear wheels were still in the park.
Now i
know i was stupid, at fault. I did ask the guard...
you saw me leave, can i just go back in. Said no, i had to go through the bag check again. Whatever, i know i was wrong,
he was following the letters of the law, but still.....
So the guards had a big
laugh.... when i went through the bag check the
second time, kept reminding me.. go
left.
I scooted down.... i keep forgetting the name, i
know they made a movie with the name.. so i first look up the actor.. whose name i cant remember... he
was in Stalig 17. so i open up IMdb. com.. Actors name william
holden. movie and name of
street... Sunset Blvd 
They waited for me, even
though they started allowing people inside the theater.
We were maybe 5 rows back?? i didnt
count. Since they reopened Fantasmic, they refreshed
it, dropped some things.. like
the live action scene portion from Pocahontas (lethal weapon-mel gibson, who had a voice park
in Pocahontas) added Frozen, Mulan, and Moana. How that involves mickey's
nightmare theme?? Beyond me. on
the positive side, new camcorder seemed to capture the low light action well.
After it was over, we waited
about 15 minutes for the crowds to thin out. i didnt want to hold them
back, so we said our goodbyes. i
made my way with my scooter back to the park entrance and to the bus station.
The way my day was going.. i
almost missed my hotel stop. we pulled into what i thought was Wilderness Lodge, but he went to pull out. i asked him... isnt
this the lodge?? He goes yes.. then
sort of remembered that was my destination. Problem, he was too close to a
pillar, so he had to move the bus about 3 ft, and i
was rolling back to the hotel.
I made it up to the club
level, and the lounge was still open, so i parked the
scooter by the lounge, had some snacks, including ice cream and some other
things.
Now the last two days, i had problems getting the scooter in and out of the room. i finally figured out how to do
it. Somehow I tie the door open, and slowly back the scooter into the room.
