Day three
Shirt of the day….. 20,000 leagues poster shirt.
Little sinister wearing this. Going to see if a park worker comments on the
shirt, will then say…. Cant wait to ride it.
Will see how they react.
I have some eggs, sausages,
and toast. And
chocolate milk.
Chocolate milk yes?
Heard of people leaving
things in the hall for others to enjoy.. but I don’t think this is one of these??
After eating, I go back to
the room, open the curtain, and see
I ride out to the dock,
waiting for a boat to take me to the
Here is a video of the boat
ride.
I make it through the boat ride, bag check, and
enter the park. First thing I do, get a
DAS return time for Peter Pan. I head to
Carousel of Progress, ride it, then cross the park to
go on Peter Pan.
DAS people enter through the lightening lane entrance. This line is very long, almost to Mickey’s Philharmagic. I cant complain too much, the line moves fast.
After that, I ride It’s a
small world, which I use my nickname for it, Tiny Planet.
The above was taken with my new toy, the below with my Gopro
8.
After that, I ride a little
mermaid ride, the one in the
A trip is not a trip… till I
do this… darn them all to heck. Where
the 20,000 leagues ride was.
In
It starts to rain hard, so I duck into Country Bear Jamboree. I ask where to park my scooter, they say
right under the right most bear behind the curtain.
I then head to ride Pirates
of the
I then head to Polynesian to
meet with Virginia and Alan to eat at ‘Ohana. Service is a little different then past
years. Instead of people walking around
with skewers, they serve in small dishes extra food. I count 22 shrimps. I count how many tails are on my plate.
After dinner, I stop by the
DVC lounge inside the Polynesian, and they will have someone show me a DVC
room. I ask if they have any freebies
for present DVC owners. They give me
this little piece of artwork.
We walk to a room for show. I hope its for show,
as the front door is mostly glass. Its on the first floor.
It’s a little on the small side, but it will be home in the future. After the tour, we head to the
First up TTA.
We go on Winnie the Pooh, the
ride, not the pavement.
We then go to check in for the dessert party. We check in first, they show us
to where we will stand to watch the fireworks, desserts after.
Since I have a scooter, they bring me down to
upfront. I find a good view of the
castle. Virginia and Alan join me
after. I left word that I will have two
guests show me. It is raining decently
now, a cold rain. So I actually wear my
poncho to help with the wind. Alan goes to a store to buy a jacket. Makes it back in time for
the fireworks. I arrived at the
viewing section before
Now while watching and
videotaping it, another wheel chair party sits right next to me. She invites a child to stand in front of
her. I hope I don’t get the kid in my
way. But she is nice, if the kid looks
like getting too close she tells him to be careful.
After the fireworks are over, we head back to the Tomorrowland
Terrace, where the food service was. Our
table is reserved. I booked a party of
one for myself,
The area looked pretty empty. There was
no one waiting for more snacks. I figure
they shut it down, but they still had people serving.
We said our goodbyes till she drives me back to the train station. I head back to my resort.
I make it back to my resort, stop by the quick service lounge, get my refillable mug,
make it up to the lounge before it closed, had some ice
cream, and called it a night.
