Day eight

April 15, 2023

Like I stated at the start of my trip, I have 2 different hotel reservations. When I checked in, they said I wouldn’t have to change rooms. What I didn’t know till this morning was I needed to check in again. I was getting emails thanking me for my stay. It got me worried enough to check with hotel check front desk. I am lucky I did, or else I would have been locked out as they had to reauthorize my access to the room and club level door.

Last park day. Ambitious day, start out at Epcot, park hop to studios, then dinner inside Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace.

I keep making this mistake. Before I enter the park, I make a DAS selection. But when I get to the ride, it shows nothing. So same thing happened when entered Epcot, I got to Soarin, didn't register my das selection, so I did it there, got something to eat, red powerade. Went on soarin. Did a das for test track 1 55 pm. Headed to world showcase to see American adventure then Katsura grill to eat.

As usual, they allowed me upstairs before the crowds to the theater. Parked the scooter in the back row, then moved down to the front. Still feel sad when they show 9-11 L Headed to eat in Japan.

Katsura was busy, by the time I got my food, a table for 4 opened up, so I sat there, no place else to eat.

Went back to…. Whatever they call the future world portion now of Epcot to go on Test Track.

After riding Test Track, left the park to ride Toy Story at the studios, and also ride the skyliner. Once I exited Epcot by International Gateway, the skyline isn’t moving. CM’s say they wont know when it will be operational. So I scoot to the Boardwalk, then the path to the Studios. I have good luck with the scooter, battery wise, going to challenge that today.

Getting ready to leave the studios, I remember something about not being able to park hop to the Magic Kingdom on Saturdays, so I am mentally planning where I would eat instead of at Crystal Palace, but I also wait in line at Guest services. They say I can park hop, so I am on my way.

I make it into Magic Kingdom.. I go on Buzz, while on Buzz, I found a outlet near the launch pad and with a CM blessing, I plug my scooter into charge there. I lost one led on the power indicator, not sure how that will work out. I just feel better about it.

I get another DAS return time and ride Buzz again.

I then go ride pirates.

After riding pirates, I go on Haunted Mansion.

I head to Jungle Cruise. Lightning reported 5 miles away. They will shut the ride down if lightening gets too close.

I do go ride Jungle Cruise.

While waiting to be seated at Crystal Palace.. took my mandatory photo of Cinderellas Castle.

I found a hot shrimp dish I like very much, I think I beat my shrimp count from ‘Ohana. J

As I write this, I have no notes, so I think I went back to my resort. I took the defining photo of my trip, Happily Ever After fireworks over the Magic Kingdom.

There is this interesting thing in the wall, it shows on both sides of the wall, one near the bedroom, the other side in the bathroom.

Will pack in the am. Sad that I am leaving.
